In March 2018, the Trump Administration barred those with gender dysphoria/transgender individuals from serving in the military, reversing the work of the Obama Administration. Trans people who are already serving will be able to stay in the military, but anyone who comes out for the first time while serving will be affected. Any transgender individual who has taken a step towards their transition is banned from enlisting. If a person wants to serve their country, why are they banned from doing so just because their gender identity does not match their body? There is no excuse.
